Ah, Fletch Lives, one of my favorite comedies.

Nicholls’ original Tillou can be seen in some of the background shots where there is a Nicholls banner.

I know it was just a movie, but I didn’t know Thibodaux had an airline that serviced it, and you drive along the river near the Sunshine bridge to get between it and the city.

Mine too. The wife's family lived in Thibodaux when the movie was being filmed, and a few of her cousins are in the choreographed dance scene when Fletch is daydreaming while on the plane:

Betty Lee (handing Fletch a mint julip): "Just look at 'em, Colonel. They've come to serenade you. They love you, so much"

Fletch (staring at woman's cleavage: "Oo-ho I love them too..." )
