Yeah, but plantations, if they are kept up, are pretty. I don't think plantations are being kept open to "show the atrocities of slavery". They are being kept open simply because they are historic, a part of history, they give us a glimpse of the past, and some are very beautiful. Destroying history just because you don't like what happened in the past, is the actions of irrational children.
