Yeah this is what I don't understand. Chase leaving hurts, but he is one person. Not only is he one person, he is a guy who had an enormous contribution in getting LSU a national title.

The thing that bothers me is that many of the same people upset at him leaving and "quitting on the team" are the same people who will be the first to say "one person can't win it all" or "it's a team effort."

There is an entire wide receiver room salivating at the thought of being the #2 guy. Behind them is a group of young guys thinking that they can shine in the slot. If Stingley leaves next year, we still have insanely talented, hungry, cornerbacks.

Yall root for LSU right? What changes because some guys opt out? Honestly, it's not fair to the guys who still remain to slide on being as intense about the season. If you wanna watch Chase that badly he'll be playing again in a year.
