I’ve always wondered what out of town people think getting on the thruway and University - must look like they’re entering Detroit.

Exactly. Every entrance into Lafayette off I-10 is through the shitty parts

A loop would fix that

If they would have got adventurous last night near the mall or Camelia it would be a different story.
Well they made it to Camelia and Kaliste Saloom and blocked the roads last night.

Time to crack down hard on this bullshite. We will not tolerate this shite here. Enough.

No doubt, but what is the breaking point for the ones who are decent human beings and want no part of this?

That gas station on the thruway and Jefferson is a junkie haven. The back alley is full of crack head and dope fiends at all hours of the day.

The infamous "Spirit" gas station. It has changed names now after all the stigma, but it's the same old shite 24/7; vagrants, drug addicts, prostitutes, and criminals. The entire thruway from Pont Des Mouton to University is a complete shithole.

If those protesters only knew how many guns and ammo stockpiles there were (posessed by people in opposition to them) within a mile in every direction from Camellia and Kaliste Saloom, they would have shite their pants.

ETA: I haven’t heard anything about this on KPEL, the local radio news/talk station. Of course KPEL was taken over by an ex-CNN trained fake news man a year ago.

My question is why hasn't someone just drove through them at speed? That will end the road blockage. Especially a tractor trailer.

I just don’t get why they don’t immediately pop tear gas when they start blocking roads. End that shite and send them home
