McCartney was a genius level music composer and lyricist. Everybody knows this. Even his fellow Beatles band members recognized this.

I thought McCartney was too bubble gum. The entire Band On The Run was dreadful. Even Lennon referred to many of Paul’s songs as “more of his granny music.”

Suzy Q. The single most lame lyrics of all time.

The greatness in that song is not in its lyrics.

Some of his music could be categorized that way, but Lennon was being a shite head toward McCartney after the breakup. The fact is that he was very jealous. Lennon’s musical success Post-Beatles was actually much more limited, and he got more press for hhis stunts with Yucko Ono than for his music.

But back to McCartney. Paul wrote:
Hey Jude, Penny Lane, Yesterday, Eleanor Rigby, The Fool on the Hill, Black Bird, Hello Good Bye, Helter Skelter, Back in the USSR, Sgt. Pepper’s, Live and Let Die, Let it Be, and on and on.

Even with Wings, his hits Band on the Run, and Uncle Albert are pretty cool and aren’t exactly “granny music”.

My chemical romance is just an awful band in an awful genre. Panic at the disco has to be the all time worst.

I don't hate this song, but I definitely don't like it as much as most people.

Like if you are at an event and it is played, people get all jacked up and I usually like any song that gets the crowd pumped, but there is just something about this one.

This song sucked so much it has to cancel out the credit he gets for at least two of his great ones.

Everyone and myself sang along to “Into the night” by Benny Mardones back in the day until I actually read the lyrics. Not cool.

Easy answer. Purple Rain. The most annoying song of all time. Terrible in all phases.
