Sports salaries including coaches/AD's, and talking heads

Are we going to see massive pay cuts to college HC's whose teams are not playing in the fall. The loss of TV revenues are going to be way down. Smaller schools wont have revenue to pay for Olympic sports. Even smaller P5 schools like Miss state. Thoughts?
On the same vein are we going to see ESPN personalities like Herbsteet take a major pay cut. I think he is making upwards of 5 million per year. ESPN cant continue to pay their highest paid guys with their ad revenue down.

I could see furloughs of a lot of the staff type people that run day to day operations. They are not cutting coaches, maybe a one time salary cut or deferral. They could furlough analysts, that's an expense you don't need without any games.
And once things return to normal they can bring them all back.

Probably not.
It’s a one year dip in revenue. They’ll be hurting for revenue even more next year so why cut the salaries of people that are largely responsible for the production of revenue?

I hope every single one of them cheering for the shutdown of college sports lose their job. That will give Ross Dellenger more time to get drunk.

Depends on contracts and boosters.
Base salaries for most of these coaches aren’t necessarily that high but they get a lot of money for various things written into the contract.
Ex - If they do the weekly radio / TV show, during the season, they get X amount.
No season? No show, I’d guess.

IDK what happened to him but hes been awful as of late, his latest "stubborn six" the conferences that are trying to play. Him and Forde must be butt buddies. We get it Ross, you post a picture of Bourbon, so edgy and cool.

If major college coaches making millions don't at least "donate" a portion of their salaries to something while all the 5 digit salary employees are getting furloughed, that's a tremendous bad optic.
