the state of Alabama is around 75% Bama fans. Therefore if you put that percent to the recruits, you get majority are Bama homers. This is because of all the rednecks that jumped on the bandwagon in the 70's with Bear Bryant. Once that generation is gone, the current generation will be more equivalent with Auburn winning more.

And I am allowed to say bandwagon cause majority of Alabama fans never went to the school or have even seen it before. They are called Gumps. Majority of Auburn fans are graduates and are successful doctors, lawyers, accountants, etc. Gumps drive Golden Flake trucks, work at the steel plant, work in construction, etc.

I've never been in a trailer park in my life, besides the first time I went to the Bama/Auburn game. Just an fyi too, Alabama'a accounting program>Auburn's.

To everyone else, Auburn doesn't sign 5* players, they want "Tommy's guys" (5'11 or shorter and sub 4.4 speed).

I have recruited Accountants from both schools and trust me, Auburn's accountants are more prepared for work and for the CPA exam than Alabamas. When I went to the recruiting event at Alabama, there were kids wearing basketball jerseys and girls dressed like they were going clubbing. They didn't even have resumes. When you go to Auburn's, they have everyone in suits with portfolios. Our firm is around 60/10 Auburn/Alabama with the other 30% from Troy, etc.
