what luck , the fact kentucky was covering deep enough on the pass or the fact ky didnt knock the ball down? good players usually beat lesser talented, coached , skilled players... and youre an lsu fan you say huh

i'll never understand this logic. just b/c people can remove their P & G glasses every now and again doesn't make them any less of a fan. it just makes them realistic and able to have an actual discussion about football.
of course we all love devery as he is a TIGER AND a SAINT. that doesn't change the fact that he's underachieved in his NFL career and that the "Blugrass Miracle" was just that. anyone who thinks a hail mary is skill is kidding themselves. it's about 90% luck and 10% skill. it's a sandlot play.
"Everyone go deep and I'll chunk it as far as I can in your general direction. Hopefully one of you comes up with it". That's the play in a nutshell. Heck, even Saban himself said the play was pure luck. I'm not in anyway bashing Devery. I'm just calling it like it is.
