Well what's wrong with it is Wade wanted to switch the entire defense to a zone-man matchup look it seemed like with a swatter in the middle. That swatter was going to be Cisse, play probably 25-30 min a game, and get spelled by Anselem or Gray some....so basically we could always have that long shot blocker in the middle and have the rim protected.

With Penn-Johnson and Gray, you're so limited on the offensive end, and neither of those 2 have the offensive rebounding or shot blocking close to Cisse had, you're stuck maybe getting 15-20 minutes max a game out of those two before it just doesnt become particularly efficient to have them out there. So now we cant really do that same defensive look when we dont have a shot blocker on the floor the majority of a game. Losing Cisse definitely changed up how Wade is going to have to approach the year defensively, which sucks because the plan was pretty dang good until it simply didn't happen. We now have 2 young 7 footers who are still more developmental than ready to play right now. Penn-Johnson spent 2 years even at Washington and could almost never even get on the court. It isn't like a KAvell Bigby-Williams situation as Penn-Johnson played in a total of 11 games abd 49 minutes in 2 seasons at UW as an end of bench player. KBW played in every game basically at Oregon his 1 year there and played on average 10 minutes per game and had some averages that looked good to extrapolate like offensive rebounding and shot blocking.
