You mention they tried to slip it by you, does that mean they never announced to you or other company vehicle drivers that tracking or monitoring devices were installed on vehicles?
I don’t know how big your company is but my SIL works for a large company that has 1000’s of company vehicles in their national fleet and in many of them they installed cameras that monitor inside and outside the cab, they monitor vehicle speed, frequent stops, hard or aggressive stops and can review video to determine seat belt use, may monitor some other stuff but they made a company wide announcement when they did it which included advising any employee who tried to disable or otherwise tamper with the system that it will lead to immediate job termination.

That’s correct...never any mention of anything like that. Typically, when I get a new vehicle I like to take a couple of hours to familiarize myself with it(I.e.see how the jack works, locate the fuse box, etc.). When I popped the fuse box, I saw a wire that didn’t look stock so I traced it out and found the tracking device under the dash...
