1) I've always heard it said that the NEXT (2022)class is the one most affected by a championship, etc. These relationships (2021) were already being formed in the recent past. Well, tOSU and Bama already had that cache'
2) The class ranking that created the greatest season ever witnessed in CFB (LSU 2019 season) were as follows {247 Composite Rank}
2019 = 5
2018 = 15
2017 = 7
2016 = 2
2015 = 5
I'd suggest anything in the Top 5 to 7 is plenty good enough to win it all

This is the answer right here. These kids are following trends as early as junior high. The season we just had will likely not give us an advantage until the 2022 class. The kids Bama is currently getting spent their formative years with Bama as the undisputed #1 team in the country. Hopefully they can stay away from that #1 spot for a couple more years and much of their shine will wear off. You are already seeing some of it die down already.
