When I went to nursing school in the good ole days(32 years ago) one of the first things we were told was that our instructors better not ever see us anywhere but the hospital in our uniforms(scrubs these days).

Yes. I had one tell me the other day that she’s gonna go around harassing people who don’t wear the Karen mask. I tried to reason with her that it’s illegal to harass and threaten people but she insisted she has a right since she’s a nurse.
Next one you get like that ask for her Nursing License Number and advise her you'll report her to the licensing board for Violations of Ethics in her wanton disregard for the laws and rights of others. She'll stop to think about losing her license at least.

Lol, indeed. And that "muh nurse wearing scrubs everywhere" shite was gross WAY before 2020.

During the early phase of Afghanistan my wife called me on the way home & asked me to do a Sam’s run. I typically avoid stopping anywhere in uniform but did that day, and it was uncomfortable. Every employee I passed and several customers did the “thank you for your service”, which there isn’t a good response to. I appreciate where they’re coming from but just a head nod would be a lot easier. I can’t imagine wearing scrubs or any outfit just to troll for attention, and theirs is a damn biohazard on top of the “please notice me” stuff.

I absolutely HATED going off base in uniform for that very reason. Genuinely appreciated the thanks but I'm no hero and it just made me feel awkward

Here's an interview afterward.

I wonder how the local news is reporting these riots based on how this woman is interviewing her: LINK

It is odd too, I think many of the "grocery store in scrubs" RNs like the attention (newsflash, I know, lol) and I guess the others are lazy.

If she deals with cancer patients she should not be out amongst lots of people. My daughter also works in a cancer ward and she is paranoid about getting something and then unknowingly passing it on to her patients that has NO IMMUNE SYSTEM do to kemo! I guess this bitch cares more about criminals than she does about her cancer patients.

Watch the video again. As one of the commenters said - she had on a pair of goggles. s
She was not trying to aid a protester, she was abetting a protester.
