At what point do these places start suing? They have been closed since March. I fail to see how this is more risky than a restaurant when you can close down rows of seats and easily enforce distancing.

I agree. X% capacity, mandatory masks.... no reason they can’t be allowed to open.

I’d love to see a movie. Just about everything else is open.

There might be an issue with lines.

I dont know about elsewhere, but movie theatres at least here in San Antonio are open. The problem being that the studios are pushing release dates back and back. The theatres are limiting capacity and having guidelines for watching movies, but the studios aren't going to release a movie to theatres when they have maybe a 1/4 of their capacity allowed.

I believe it’s because studios aren’t releasing any movies right now. I’d love for them to open and play classic movies though

Hell there never is anyone there to begin with, virus or not.

Abandoned malls are great for social distancing, as well as pretzels and urban fashion.

Pretty sure movie theaters can open in most states now. The big chains are not opening because there are no new films to watch now. They won’t make much of a profit showing old classics.

I hope theaters go the way of the dinosaur. I’m all for in home releases.

Sucks for movie theaters.

Hopefully Hollywood gets absolutely destroyed by this shite though. I want to see all those cuunts getting foreclosed on and kicked to the street.

They are the staunch supporters of the failure that is big gov.
