Heck,most vehicles today cost more than my house when I bought it.

It seems too many people measure their self esteem by what they drive.

If we can't afford some tricked out ,overpriced fortress,buy something sensible and affordable til we get what we want.

My almost exact move post graduation. Landed a job and and got a Honda Civic for reliability and gas mileage for a poor recent college grad. I got a 2009 in 2010 and put 178k miles on it, no major repairs outside of basic maintenance and fixing a bumper from a hit and run. Got myself my current ride as my Christmas present to myself this year. Not a thing flashy about the Honda but it got me where I needed to go and gave me minimal issues.
