You are a truly, uninformed dumbass. Here, I'll educate you so that you be a little less of a dumbass today.
Luther Strange was appointed by a Governor who was caught in a sex scandal, among other things. Strange was the AG in Alabama at the time and did not pursue an investigation into the Governor's action, in what was viewed as political payback for the appointment. Roy Moore rose to the top by having household name recognition. The good people of Alabama were left to choose between a turd sandwich and a douche. Many stayed home and did not vote. That is how Doug Jones got elected as (D) in a VERY red, conservative state. That will all be rectified today, as who ever will win the primary (Tubs) will beat Jones by 20 points.
