Gary Coleman and a porn star received thousands of votes during that election. That should tell you something about that electorate.

And......I said L.A., Not California.

Weaseled their way? Do you see who is the governor of Cali? He is a former mayor of San Fran. Not exactly an unknown.

I will guarantee you that the majority of Compton, South Central and Long Beach are all in favor of "defunding the Po-Po". As are the liberal elites, as long as they can still have their walls, gates, and private security.

Try running for office in L.A. with an (R) behind your name, and let me know how that works out.

I really think you have a very stereotypical view of the west coast in general. The people of your reverse view on west coast look at the poverty in your state and similarly think you’re a moron for continuing to elect Republicans in your area. They look at you as sister fricking retard in the same way you look at all these people as BLM/Antifa members. Sorry there’s more nuance to these places than you believe with people every bit as complicated and similar goals as yours. Almost none of these people think it’s a good idea to cut the police’s budget in half.

If Trump runs the right campaign, he could win every state perhaps barring Vermont. Of course he’s not going to since he lets his crocodile mouth destroy himself, but this should be a message that appeals to all 50 states. People want security above all else, and cocksuckers like this mayor or Bill De Blasio is clearly not going to provide that. Trump has to run as the law and order candidate.

Stereotypical? I see the candidates they elect. I see their policies enacted. You don't have to be an Einstein to conclude what is out there. They are too busy with the "feels" to use logic in forming an opinion. Let's face it, the people who are smart, logical, and reasonable, left California shortly after Reagan left office. I'm sure there are pockets of holdouts who see the insanity for what it is, but those people are far too few in numbers to make any difference. You are witnessing Detroit 2.0 in the making.

Again: Alabama’s poverty? Why haven’t your elected officials fixed that? That’s what your bizzaro versions of you are thinking over there. What’s your retort?

Didn’t you just say you weren’t talking about California at large and just LA? You’re proving my point, dude.

Ever ask yourself, how in the Hell does someone like De Blasio get elected? It sure as Hell wasn't because he ran on law and order.

Gray Davis ran California into the ground. He got recalled, and that got you the Terminator. What did Cali do next? Elected "Open-Borders" Newsome! Former Mayor of San Fran where people are allowed to shite in the street, shoot up drugs in public, and create hovels anywhere they damn well please. Don't preach to me about what people want, when I have two eyes to see who they approve of to run their government. The vast majority of people that live on the Left Coast are socialist. They may have an occasional blip, and see the error of their vote, but they always go back to the same shite that got them in a bad spot in the first place.

Well they aren't saying to cut funding for these types of crimes.

If the total budget is cut by 50%, do you really think they are going to have the same resources and manpower available for these types of crimes?

And what if the person is armed and threatening him or herself or others?

Then they probably don't send an unarmed social worker by themselves.

This is a cute, but disingenuous reply.

Nearly every police department in a city of any size already employs mental health experts. If a call comes into 911 with a mental patient tag, or an officer on scene believes it is necessary, an officer or social worker trained in dealing with mental health patients is dispatched. Always, and it will likely remain that way going forward, an officer is dispatched to the scene first to make sure it is safe for others. Then, the social workers and whatnot, who are standing by, are allowed on the scene. It is a liability issue.

This is very similar to local NAACP chapters announcing lists of demands. Most things on their list already exist in one fashion or another. They either didn't care to research what was available, or they purposely included inflammatory demands knowing the general public has no clue most of the stuff is already in place.

To be fair, De Blasio has been polling lower than fricking Trump in his city even before Covid. De Blasio is not only the most hated person in that city but the most hated man in America right now. I’m willing to bet if Rudy ran against him right now he would win.

You retards almost elected Roy Moore, dude. Even without the pedophilia (which is the only thing that kept him out of office) everyone else in the country was going “What the frick is this shite?” Don’t go throwing stones from glass houses.

LOL! Not much of thinker, are you? Before Covid, Alabama's economy was one of the top growing economies in the nation.

No, I said trying running for an office with an (R) behind your name in L.A. I know that point went over your head, but the premise is, the largest city and county in the State of California, 2nd largest city in the USA, will not elect anything but a Democrat. I'm not sure Schwarzenegger carried L.A. County in either election, and if he did, I'd be surprised if it was more than 2% in his favor.

Says the person who thinks that basically everyone who lives on the west coast is a socialist.

But then in the same fricking sentence you start stereotyping everyone in California as a fricking socialist. You’re an idiot.

Great response! So full of intellectual rebuttal!

Remind me again, who is the mayor of Washington's largest city? The Governor?

Were you sad when the "Summer of Love" got eventually cancelled by the mayor?
