If you want to go into aerospace or automative - La Tech offers aerospace engineering, but I'd look into what main schools Boeing/Airbus US recruit from and look into those. LSU's engineering program is generally (but not exclusively) geared towards O&G / petrochem.

If I could really pick my dream occupation, it would be with NASA or working with renewable energy sources. Building/manufacturing them and in that business. Aerospace would be more of a Masters idea to help me into nasa.
