This shouldn’t have to be explained to anyone, but Saban shook Bo to the core. My uncle was an assistant coach for another sport during those years and after Saban left. Just explaining how I know.

That administration including Skip vowed to never let a coach act like that again. Enter Will Wade and it’s their worst nightmare.

Act like what? To let attendance auditors and piss testers to stay in their lane?

It's why Les was hired. He was told to retain Jimbo, and told he could not bring Clay with him as DC and a year or two later Skip was dragging him around courting bowl games like the Cotton, can you imagine him even asking Saban?
