You're going to blame the increases in these states on simply not wearing masks?
That is the only factor at play?
Nope
People weren’t being cautious at all. No social distancing here. No masks. Just acting like the virus had just disappeared.
When Ducey opened the state wide open May 16...people came from other states to party here. Bars by me in Scottsdale packed. Our lakes packed as well Memorial Day weekend
And yes...protests as well. That certainly didn’t help. Anytime you get a massive group of people together isn’t gonna help.

Bars are and have been risky environments for this, as are other enclosed and close quarters places.
Outside shite, unless shoulder to shoulder, are non-issues.
And of course people are going to stop being cautious. We are social creatures. We are tired of this shite. And, whenever you have politicians and medical professionals coming out and saying huge protests are cool even in the age of SARS 2.0, it's understandable that law-abiding folks are going to say "frick it" as well.
Also, we shouldn't ignore the elephant in the room with these border states, L.A. Times reported on it previously and now even CNN is reporting it.

I am not here to argue. Tell me where I am wrong.
I am curious as to why we need to be so cautious? 98+% of deaths are people over 65 or 70 yrs old. "Normal" people without certain conditions (respiratory/weight/etc.) are simply not dying.
so, at this point, are we now trying to shield people from this virus? well that is not where started, and only going to guarantee that future will hold an even worse outbreak.
Someone mentioned giving up freedoms...if you are scared, stay at home. I am not scared, therefore, I am not staying home.
Why has not a single "leader" (that I have seen) openly used this "pandemic" to push for better health habits? Because they want more and more control of our lives. The unified message from every politician should have been that if you live a healthier lifestyle, then you have nothing to worry about.
Why do you think that cumulative Hospitalizations/Deaths are the numbers they push in front of us daily, but not that 99% of people fully recover? It is fairly obvious that this thing has become a power/money grab for politicians.
