How did communism work out the last million times people have tried it??

Becaused it’s currently being pushed within our borders.

Francoist Spain and Pinochet's Chile are probably the most recent examples that weren't done by outside forces, and they weren't exactly failures. Not ideal, but better than communism.

Ummm, have you seen my posts? Line me up against a wall if that comes to pass as well and I am captured trying to overthrow it.

Both terrible worthy of overthrowing. My favorite movie of all time has to do with Spanish fascism.

I guess my point is Communism is a far more tangible threat to your life currently than Fascism.

Maybe you’re right and the dichotomy between the two doesn’t exist. You don’t have to choose either.

I feel like less and less people actually believe that now a days though.

Given my choice between the fasces and the hammer and sickle, though, I think I know which one gives me better survival odds.

Yes, unfortunately. Communism should have the same legacy as fascism. It’s unfortunate it doesn’t because we wouldn’t be facing our current situation if it was.

What about me? At the age of 4 I would be euthanized. They’re both wholly evil and should be destroyed.

It's currently being pushed inside of our own borders through a massive cultural revolution that shows no signs of stopping and losing steam.

If it continues, a massive right wing response will show itself in our lifetimes.

Hitler was a complete moron that bit off more than he could chew like bombing the United Kingdom, invading Russia and preemptively declaring war against the USA after pearl harbor. If Hitler stuck to his own borders, realistic possibility Nazi Germany would still be alive today.

Hitler is a good example of why communist/theocratic regimes like North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Syria, Venezuela and so on stick to inside of their borders and are hermit states.

Not every fascist regime engaged in euthanization, for the record. You're basically attributing all fascism to wartime Germany.

How would you destroy both fascism and communism?

I’m no more willing to put that fork into the socket of fascism than I am when all those commies keep putting that fork into the socket of Marxism.

Make no mistake, we were storming those beaches just as much to liberate Europe from fascism as we were to save it from communism. We should have listened to Patton, and we would see communism in the same appropriate light as we see fascism.

We are beyond nation-state warfare. There are no beaches to storm. You can't throw an army at the problem.

also lol we provided significant materiel aid to the USSR, and FDR & Stalin were butt buddies. There was significant Communist influence and agents all throughout the Roosevelt administration.

You're right, though, Patton should have been listened to.

I remember reading and re-reading his biographies throughout early high school (HEMPHEAD GOING TO VMI OR WEST POINT WOAH), and the ones provided by the library certainly didn't provide the more...incendiary comments that he made.
