Rural anywhere, but for now, my favorite is rural maine.
Leave portland and its trump 2020-ville. People want to be left alone, yet look out for each other. Daily i smile as i listen to the pop pop of various neighbors shooting their guns in their backyard.
Virtually no crime, people are nice, little traffi, every year the brutal winters drive away more soys who cant stomach it, etc.
To me, it is truly God's country.
