Remembering history & reverence of historical figures are entirely different .
There are still statues of Stalin in Russia. There are still statues of Napoleon in France. There's statues of Lenin in fricking Seattle, Vegas, New York, and Connecticut

Is anyone upset about removing Jefferson Davis?
Hell, he wasn’t even an effective or popular leader within the Confederacy. The guy was a loser—on a personal and political level, regardless of how the war turned out. No loss in removing his memory IMO

When the first CSA memorials were under attack a few years ago Americans should have said leave all of our history intact.....the good and the bad. If Biden wins the NWO Prog/Dim leftists will be rewriting all of American history they deem offensive and removing all symbols and memorials they deem offensive. Hopefully these leftists will find the guts to rename the Dim party, the party of slavery, Jim Crow, and lies.

Honestly, I'm not sure why he was ever celebrated. The CSA had a steep hill to climb anyway, but he was a very weak and ineffective leader. It's partly his fault the Lost Cause was lost.
