The left is absolutely obsessed with racism.

The racist right refuses to admit it's a problem. They simply want to ignore it and actually do nothing about it.

They're obsessed with any inequities that are easy to point out and rally people around.

It gives them a reason to push for expanded government power and control. "We will even things out!"

They literally have nothing to run on.

No policy. No CV plan. Only race issues.

You think the guy in Ohio who is struggling to feed his family b/c he's out of a job gives two fricks about race issues right now?

Racism will always exist in every corner of the globe. That being said, I don't feel we have this systemic racism that the Democrats claim. They use racism as a tool to get blacks frothing at the mouth to help them with their agenda. Democrats don't care about the cause, they just use it as a tool to get something. If they ever "fixed" the racial issues they claim exist, they could never use this tool again to advance their agenda of seizing power. They project their Alinsky attacks on their target, which is Republicans or conservatives because they stand in the way of Democrats seizing power and the money. They want to control who is elected to office so they always get a liberal cooperative/friendly candidate who will keep the taxpayer "faucets" of funding flowing into their pockets/

Obsessed with emotions

Leftist ideas are antithetical to foundational American constitutional principles. Furthermore, history has galvanized the dysfunction of practical leftism. It has become an exercise in academic faith.

Mainstream Americans shun leftism for these reasons. In order for leftists to win American elections, they attempt to appeal to a collection of minorities, despite these groups being very loosely connected ideologically. They appeal to emotion through fear; fear of the majority, fear of bondage, fear of discrimination, real or imagined. But this isn't enough. They also need to cull votes from the majority. They also use emotion: guilt. They deny social progress, debase groups based on race and class, and balkanize communities. Lastly, they pair their terrified coalition of minority voters with their guilt ridden subset of majority voters, sprinkle on promises never to be kept, and voila!
