On our helmets we use a dark purple and a true gold color, on everything else it's more of blue/purple and yellow

LSU originally used old gold on it's uniform. However, the problem with the color was that it turned brown when players sweated in them.
So, the LSU coach (I think it was Dietzel) had the color changed to canary yellow.

I need the helemt color in a spray can. If I buy "gold" then it will be like the Georgia Tech one above.
I'm well aware our colors are purple and gold, but that shite we use is not "gold"...its yellow.
I'm just wondering if I wanted to paint a helmet to look somewhat authentic what shade I should use??
This was not meant to be a color circle jerk, I'm just interested in y'alls opinion on painting a helmet.
