re: Unfollowed the Saints on all of my social media

If I boycotted every product owned by people with whom I disagreed, I wouldn’t be able to live. I won’t buy any licensed merch or any tickets on the primary market or NFL ticket exchange, but I will probably still watch most of the games on free OTA television.

My life has no meaning. I make nothing of value to others. I have no purpose in life. Sports gives me the ability to escape for 3 hours and feel like I am a part of something greater than myself.

I loathe how politics have been forced into it, and every other form of entertainment, so there is no escape from the outside world. I hate most of the rule changes of the past 15-20 years. I hate the league’s blatantly corrupt officiating. However, I love the game of football, and I am sick of having nothing to do on Sundays other than house chores.

I would delete all my social media as well, but I need it to run my bands. Hopefully soon, I’ll be handing off that authority to someone else so I can get off Facebook, at least.
