The black community needs our help
ok, what kind of help are talking about? I would assume this help would vary person to person...

They have been unheard for far too long
at age 54, I've been listening to Black people for 30 years...I've watched a great number of riots on my TV...I've done plenty of listening and observing...
young black people usually don't appreciate my thoughts after listening about how to make change a reality
quote:
This isn’t politics. This is human rights.
That's fine, but someone once said, "everything is about politics"..I think there is some truth in that...
but what rights are being omitted in this country? I mean really come on now...
Last year, 399 white people were killed by police (Usa)
Last year, 223 black people were killed by police (Usa)
if every life matters, then why hasn't there been a single story in my 54 years of Cops knocking off my fellow white People?
I am just trying to understand all of this..focus on one race over and over. I would think Black people are sick of watching their race of people make fools of themselves by flashing FU signs to police with their shirts off and pants down while toss rocks in windows and burning cars, and stealing TV's...laughing about half of it
why do black people vote like one big group? 93% Democrat, that makes no sense to white people, but "I ain't black" (I guess if I listened more I would understand why they support a communist/globalist/progressive regime)
why do many black people tend to not respect or reject people like Ben Carson, or Judge Thomas, or Thomas Sowell? This makes no sense to me...
I believe black people have been conditioned think a certain way, that's the struggle to make any progress.
but they don't want hear that from white people
so we go about our own business... we go to work, we take care of families and worry what we can control is this world which isn't much.
and that's how it goes.... nothing really changes because change only happens on an individual basis, not on a race or group basis...by talking
we know this but for some reason, we think talking about races, some how this changes the world gaining understanding or acknowledging racism exist.

If we're going to make 'this' a black-white issue, then you tell Joe I'll be glad to "open my ears and listen" when blacks stop murdering whites at such a disproportionate rate.
Is that unreasonable?
Is that unreasonable?

They have been unheard for far too long. Open your ears, listen, and speak.
the "black community" has been one of the main political topics ever since the 60's when civil rights marches and President LBJ went about trying to right the wrongs for blacks.
the black leadership (mouth piece) such as MLK, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the "clean negro" ala Joe Biden, have done nothing for "the blacks" for 50 years.
they still have many of the same issues though these black leaders are considered the mouth piece for them to this day.
we were told Obarry was going to end the racism but he did the Alinsky thing and fanned the flames at every opportunity.
the mainstream media is to blame as much as anyone as they provide a channel of misinformation to be broadcast to the people who are gullible little sheep.
the Democrat party is still the party that is all about racism.
insane leading the insanity.

Let me rephrase.
The first part of your post was expressed well and I could get behind it. I even agree with the sentiment that those that bash Reid or Burrow for taking stands or making statements that don’t align with their own personal views are weak-minded for attacking the individual as opposed to providing a counterpoint.
That said, the last portion of your OP is ignorant because it’s a poorly expressed personal attack over their opinions...the exact same thing you are railing them for.

There are 5x the number of white citizens in the US than black citizens. Based on percentage of the population, these numbers would have to be 1,115 white citizens killed for every 223 black citizens killed in order for it to be equal based upon race.
Now, obviously that isn't the only factor you would have to include to see if there is racial bias at work, but to say “but more white people are killed by cops than black people killed by cops” fails any honest examination.

Any viewpoint? Like you find out they believe that all Jews, or white people or black people should be rounded up and shot. Difference of opinion so if you thought you liked them before you're weak minded if you change your opinion? That opinion is even more ignorant than not liking Joe Burrow because he thinks we should be supportive of the black community after a tragedy.
I didn't have an opinion of you before, I do now.
