Also, you gotta be careful with “clearing the hips”
This right here. Was in the same boat OP, played baseball through high school, decently athletic and started playing 2 summers ago. Game came pretty naturally but really struggled with slicing the driver.
Still do if I clear my hips too aggressively and at the wrong time.
No homo but you look fairly natural and athletic from the shots. Big helpers from me are focus on clearing hands at the correct time and also shorten the back swing ala Finau, that has helped me tremendously control the club head. Most of your power comes from legs/hips anyway, don't need a John Daly backswing to hit it 250+ on a consistent basis.
I'd watch vids and focus on hip clearing correctly, you're probably hitting it pretty strong, just gotta get those hands moving at the right time to close the face naturally. There's also a guy on IG, FVZGOLF that will analyze and help your swing front and back for like $30 bucks, its pretty legit and has helped me a lot during lockdown.
^ All shite everyone has posted but it has changed my game completely. Dropped 4-5 strokes per round from it and don't have to hit my 3 wood off every tee anymore.

This is what helped my slice out a lot. I didn’t have a baseball player swing but I had a Barkley swing. Just slowing down and focusing on contact helped me out a ton.
I spent hours at the range just focusing my driver.
My driver went from out of my bag and playing 4 irons off the tee to my best club in my bag
