I didn’t say the Loomis thing was nepotism. I said the Brian belichick thing was nepotism. I would point out that depending on what definition you look at nepotism can refer to relatives and friends, but I’m sure that doesn’t matter to you.

However, for arguments sake let’s say Loomis was cronyism (showing preferential treatment to friends). This still has nothing to do with race. Dell Demps stayed on as GM of the Pels until after Tom died, and he is widely viewed as terrible. Was Tom only racist when choosing GMs for his football team, but not for his basketball team?
