Had to wear a jacket a lot of the time last year.
And the race is great, enjoy a full weekend not just the sunday. Do yourself a favor and spend the money to sit on turns 12-15. They give you the most time seeing the cars and also turn 12 gives you the cars coming off the long back straight into a tight left hander. Lots of passes in these turns. Buy tickets that give you access to the Member's tents (COTA season ticket holders). There's a tent right at turn 15 that gives you good food and drink with minimal lines. Good place to hand out.
