I’d rather give him the finger and tell him to cut the sweetheart deal for some legislator’s nephew Jim Bob.

I would love it if everyone was forced to pay $500. Can you imagine the screaming that would come from certain areas about having to actually pay taxes. That alone is worth $500 to me.

Louisiana budget revenues are projected to take a $1 billion hit as the coronavirus hammers the state's businesses and workers, according to economists who took their first stab at forecasting the financial toll Monday

I'm sure some fiscal responsibility will be called for by JBE and the legislature and governmental cuts will be in order...

I have said this for the last few months, JBE will have to put his big boy pants on and finally cut something. Easy to pick on his predecessor for cutting and using one time funds to fill holes when you get the Leg to pass “temporary taxes”. He hasn’t reformed any of the tax basis , he increased spending the last fours years across the board and also increased the state government footprint by hiring more staff at every agency. Can’t do it this year.

I strongly dislike posts like this, because it allows our POS RINOS in the legislature to avoid responsibility.

The governor cannot pass a budget. He can sign it or veto it, but the budget - and any revenue bills - must come from the RINO-dominated legislature.

We know - and expect - that the governor won't do much to propose reduced spending. The allegedly veto-proof legislature is going to have to do it for them. All these retards talk about is how they want to be independent of the governor - now is the chance to prove themselves. Pass a budget that cuts 1 billion in spending. Force JBE to veto it. Otherwise, posters like you need to STFU.

I think we should go back to Bobby "Huge Deficit and Never Accountable" Jindal.
