They let him go because his big brother will be taking care of him and the fam from here on out, no need in wasting money that can be used on other student/athletes. shite, he'll be working for his big bro in a few years after he finishes his playing days at FIU or wherever he's headed.

This comment had me laughing!

"Any word on whether the University will keep the house in Alabaster when the family moves to Miami this summer or will it be handed down to the next athlete's family they place at Thompson?"

Imagine the melt in Tuscaloosa if LSU picked him up and then beat Alabama

All I’m saying is that he isn’t a P5 QB.

Is this coming from practice reports?

The whole family is going to south Florida with Tua. He'll surface at a school close to Miami.

LSU is not interested in him. The train had already left.

Give me JT Daniels over Tau. We already have a Tau in Parrish and he may not be around for the next football season.

He'll be in South Florida some where. You can bet the whole family is moving down that way to be closer to Tua. Saban probably told him his services are no longer needed

Michael Bratton said on his podcast a month or two ago he was hearing rumors Lane was in contact with the dad and the dad was being open considering leaving for ole miss and to reunite with Lane if baby tua wasn’t named starter going into fall. This all seems to line up with that, I don’t think the dad would resign to allowing his son to playing g5 ball or for Diaz he seems to believe both of his kids are NFL HOF material.

Lmao of course—that’s how this board works. You can see it with Caleb Williams, too. When we were leading for him, this board considered him the best recruit in the country. Now that he’s iffy, this board says that Nussmeier is actually better anyway (“look at his comp%! We’d rather have an accurate passer than someone like CW!”). The best part will be when Caleb finally makes his decision. If he chooses us, this board will consider him the #1 player in the country. If he chooses Oklahoma, this board will claim that Williams wasn’t actually all that good.

Headed to FIU, FAU or Miami on daddy’s orders. I would think FAU would be the best bet. Willie Taggert will want a big name at QB in his first year even if it’s just to help drum up excitement for the program after Lane bolted. Taulia isn’t good enough to start at a top school so maybe going a step down like FAU is the best thing anyway for him.
