Perhaps, but we would have heard nothing about it but for the inexplicable actions (or lack thereof) by the local DA. Between the actions of the dad and his boy, and those of the DA.....a new high score for imprudence in this category.

Any idea what the race pimps see as the benefit in sowing discord by saying whites are literally hunting black people in the streets to kill them?
I don’t understand why this lie is helpful to the cause.
These two need to face a jury for sure but they weren’t hunting blacks to kill. There was in their eyes a reason to stop the victim as wrong as they were to do that.

More whites are killed by blacks every year than the other way around.

Yes and no. A kid was killed in NOLA and since no one snitched no one is in jail for that kids murder. He also doesnt go into the black on black crime number either. Rightfully so because it still could have been a white or latino guy, but lets get real, it wasnt.

I buy that on occasion black men are unjustly treated by police. I really do.
I also accept that on extremely rare occasions, callous or racist attitudes lead to white-on-black violence.
It's just unfortunate that instead of getting everyone on board with these things at times like this (which is the natural instinct for most), we're going to endure months of the Shaun Kings talking about "how can I teach my son to be safe around the white devils" while ignoring reality (that a white guy around black people would be in much greater danger statistically).

Victimhood is a commodity in modern society. Being able to claim such grants one moral superiority in the eyes of many. It's ironic. The weaker/more helpless you can cast yourself, the more noble some see you.
So when situations like this arise, such individuals focus less on the objective wrong doing, and moreso on whatever social injustice they can magnify with said wrongdoing.

The reason it's news is because they were caught on video, the DA had the video, and didn't even bother to arrest them. That's the outrage.
Most black on black crime goes unsolved because there's no witnesses or the witnesses refuse to come forward. In this case, we know exactly who did it, they're on video doing it, it's cut and dry and the police purposefully covered it up to avoid charging them. I don't care what color you are, that should be a national story. F&%k those police and DA who tried to slow play murder charges when the perps are identifiable on video.
