Rumor circling around thats he is leaving the team. I was looking forward to him at LT next year. Anybody know anything futher or heard this?

Well, it could be possible. If Black stays for his senior season he not only is a backup this year but also in 2009.

He probably missed a couple workouts, got in some trouble and was upset. I doubt there's much to this.

Yes, I have heard elsewhere that he has been dismissed from the team, but I have not confirmed this rumor. We're both prolly wrong and this is much ado about nothing since we don't have in excess of 15,000 posts, the benchmark for legitimacy.
If true, this will stink mightily and I hope we can sign another big time OT this year to replace him.
