He’s a great example that talent isn’t enough to make you elite at the highest level. Perrilloux too. Undeniable talents but when you grow up and stop playing against boys, everyone is equally as talented. I think the structure of college and his uncle probably helped him keep his weight down and helped him be accountable. Take those structures away and give him millions, and yea, watch the implosion.
I think Perrilloux was even more immature in high school/college than Russell. Perrilloux should have been a top QB but his lack of maturity was worse than Russell.
