You can read about how these evil dictators rise to power and wonder how society as a whole didn't stop it, but it's pretty easy to see just how easy it is. The second people are scared, they give themselves away to authority and are happy to turn on others

and what is equally troubling is that so many people give themselves away to authority about which they know nothing. And the authorities know nothing about them.


What ever happened to the old joke, "I'm from the federal government, and I'm here to help you"? Good God, every Karen, Kevin, and Ronnie who didn't want to rock the boat or get FB shamed, ran inside and just said "OK"
