To admit that on a job app ... three weeks prior. That’s some confidence.

Where in Denham Springs did these people live because last year there were a ton of police at this one particular house? I thought that it was a drug bust but my neighbor said that he heard that it was due to something sexual in nature. The Denham police were at that house for 2 days and nights. It's a real nice house and it still is empty. There are no for sale signs on the lawn. Apparently nobody is taking care of the property because the grass is very high. Nobody in the subdivision ever spoke about what the police found or the reason why a couple was arrested. Nobody brings it up. Do you think that the police are still investigating the contents that were in the house? It's a very nice house and I just hope that somebody moves in. It would be a shame if a relatively new house was left to rot away.

These are the same two that spooged into cupcakes and his teacher wife brought them to school, right? Or am I confusing them with another LP couple?

The fact that you have to ask this question really says it all about Livingston Parish.

I can’t wait to hear Ard explain how he hired this POS with BRPD rejecting his hire. Unreal.

Uhhh, Perkins was hired at LPSO in 2002, 9 years before Ard became Sheriff in 2011.

That's a question Willie Graves should answer.

Also, this story is a good example as to why I'm not a believer in the thin blue line crap.

We're all flawed human beings with some more inappropriately flawed than us and therefore, when it comes to public servants that has the power to deprive citizens of their freedom and liberty, there should be no such thing as a brotherhood amongst them. At least not the kind of brotherhood that covers up evilness like this story.

You can't sell me that everyone in the LPSO had no idea what Perkins and his wife were up to.

Maybe I’m missing something but why would anyone mention sex with a minor on a police job application?

Nothing Jesus can do for these two.

Not exactly true.

Before they die, if they repent and are truly and legitimately remorseful of their sins and acknowledge and accept the existence of christ and that he died to forgive them, they can be allowed into Heaven. The one unpardonable sin God has is a disbelief and lack of acceptance of God and his son Jesus Christ.

Their faith is a matter for them and them only to resolve and is between them and God.

However, for as long as these criminals still have a pulse in their bodies and can breathe, they have a public debt to pay to society and must pay it off as a court of law deems appropriate.

Matthew 22:21: Jesus said "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's."

Hoping they commit a sin because you don't want them in Heaven is not exactly a good look in the eyes of God.

Only God can deem a soul fit or not fit for admittance into Heaven, and if they repent and accept Christ, and God believes them, they're getting into Heaven and that's that.

With that said, Dennis and Cynthia will have the next several decades to work on that in prison where they appropriately belong because they're a danger to the public. And they should never be released from prison as well.
