There was interview last night on tv of the Michigan Governor defending why abortion clinics are still open, and while describing the procedure, she would never use the word abortion, but instead spoke in coded language.
If she believes so strongly in abortions, use the darn word!

I have no problem with the liquor stores being open. You can practice social distancing there

Abortions are very clearly elective procedures

You couldn't use some of those scrub nurses elsewhere?

How is a liquor store essential?
Mind you, this is the same Governor who allows liquor stores to be open, but blocked off aisles at Home Depot banning people from buying seeds!

Probably not. Most people working at an abortion clinic are not very good at medicine nor hygienic practices. Abortion mills are generally filthy places prone to not even passing state medical inspections which is hwy the worshipers of moloch fight tooth and nail to not have them treated as medical facilities subject to inspections.

Unfortunately, alcoholism is such a problem, that I would actually be worried for some if they weren’t open.

This is a lame excuse, Guess what? Walmart’s are open and they have liquor!
If a Christian Governor opened Walmart, but shut down the liquor section, liberals would have a fit!

Beer/liquor is essential. My wife and I both have full time jobs and are having to work from home, and we are parents of 3 trying to homeschooling them at the same time. All 5 of us would be dead or democrats right now if it weren't for alcohol.

I get it, you are trying to be a funny man. You can buy your booze at the grocery stores. Liquor stores are not essential.

If you can buy your booze at the grocery store then why NOT be able to buy it at the liquor store?

Are you so sheltered to not realize that liquor in most states is not sold at grocery stores. Many states have state run alcohol stores or it has to be sold in a different store.

That’s not the point is it? The point is, the authoritarian Governor is deciding what can and can’t be open, and what can and can’t be sold. She’s allowing pot dispensaries to be open but won’t allow people to buy seeds at Home Depot.
It’s clear that her decisions are based more on politics than health reasons.

I must be, because every grocery store in Louisiana has alcohol. Again, alcohol and pot aren’t essential , and if a guy has to lose his job or business because of this virus, surely someone can go a few months without pot or booze.

You must buy hard liquor in certain states at a "ABC liquor store"..they do not sell whiskey in a grocery store.
