Pistol Pete has nobody close to him as far as what he accomplished at LSU. NOBODY CLOSE TO HIM. Before or since and it has been 50 years since his time as a Tiger. He did what he did with no shot clock and no three point line. Consider that for a moment and there has STILL been no one close to him. He was a special, one of a kind phenomenal player. Burrow was good in 2019, exceptional, all-world like. There are quarterbacks who have come close to having his type of season having played in similar high paced passing attacks. Pete did this for all four years he was in school. Burrow did it for one season. There really is no comparison.
