I wouldn't necessarily agree with this. I've been in the North Dallas Suburbs for over 3 years and Abbott seems to revered here. Like in a can-do-no-wrong type of way.

Jenkins does seem to be a very pushy, petty guy and i'm not exactly a fan

Statewide sure. North Dallas suburb/Collin County -- same.

Dallas, Richardson, and some of the other near suburbs. Blue and probably not going back.

But Abbott is a lot like Cornyn. They don't invite the hate like Cruz does among the Dems in Texas.
