Calenders sucked except for the Touchdowns.

I'm not sure why but we ate there a lot growing up. Probably bc it was cheap and around the corner (Perkins location) I remember liking the cajun burger, camp potatoes, and pastalya. It wasnt awesome food but people sure do hate on it for some reason.

Was Mama Brava's at Cortana mentioned in this thread?

Was this the Italian restaurant inside the mall? If so that was probably one of my favorite places as a kid along With El Chicos in front of the mall. Every time we’d take a day trip to BR it was those two or Benningans. As an adult I miss Coyote Blues.

Shakey pizza on airline(BR) also had one by Broadmoor theater.
Don’t remember pizza but the duck hunting game that took up a wall was the best.

Zorba's (where La Lagniappe is now)
Giamanico's (my Mom LOVED that place) was fun to take her.
Round the Corner on Highland (Pizza burger)

Does ANYONE else remember Leon's Italian Kitchen and where it was and who used to hang out there?

Wesley's by the Broadmoor theatre. Way back in the day.
Always packed, took a half an hour to get your order, but worth the wait.
Super hot oven, thin crust.
Had to time your movie attendance around the pizza delay.

Sicily's on Florida
Godfather's on Florida
The Great Wall on College
Lafleur's Restaurant on Magnolia Beach rd
Cheeburger Cheeburger on Siegen
Po' Folks on Florida

Denny's
All of the Shoney's locations. Late night breakfast bar was awesome
Captain D's-The old ones and the newer ones are now gone. Despite being fast food, they really did have good fried fish and good sides.
The old Rotolo's on Coursey when the calzones didn't suck. Calzones were half price on Tuesdays or Wednesdays I think

Aunt Rose's??? or something like that. It was in Denham Springs on S. Range Rd. Truly nostalgic for me. My Dad used to take me and my sister here on Saturday mornings to watch a movie and have a pizza. I can't find any record of it at all on the internet. It was like a movie theater with tables and chairs like a restaurant. On Saturdays, they would play Disney movies, cartoons, little rascals, Laurel and Hardy, etc for the kids. I have so many memories in this place. Does anyone else remember this?
