Trying to get ideas to design a logo for a camp sign...

The camp is called One Oak. The property has a 150 year old huge live oak on it that has branches touching the ground. I'd like to incorporate the live oak, the name One Oak and possibly the street address.....Two Twenty-One Chimneyville.

Said logo will likely be used to have a wooden sign made that will have the logo wood burned or sketched onto it.
A stencil version would be ideal.

TIA

That is essentially what i had in mind. maybe an oval rendition, different fonts, smaller address

But that is a great start!

much appreciated

Thanks Mick...I'm horrible at this kind of stuff...lol. Maybe Imprint MT Shadow, Lucida Calligraphy or Lucida Handwriting......nothing real crazy.

very nice....what type of sofware is prevalent for this type of stuff?

BTW....that looks very much like the tree

I like the transparency of the one Mick did....very little ground showing. is that possible?

The sign company should be able to take it from here. They can take your concept or this exact tree and add lettering etc.

To answer your software question most people use photoshop or similar, I use gimp.

Thanks Mick....I was starting to worry about you having not returned to the fark board for a few days...lol

My wife actually likes your design a little better (tree isn't as dense) and was looking forward to an oval version or updated fonts version...but if unable to i totally understand.

I’ll try mess with it today, got a bit busy lately. I’m pretty much a rookie especially with oval lettering with gimp software but we can see what it looks like

Lol... Nole, can you take the lower part of the sign out and post just that with the oval ring as it is?
