Definitely the number of positive tests would seem to be just a drop in the bucket to actual people who have it.
Maybe 5%, if that many?
I say that based on anecdotal evidence but I know around 12 people now in NY who almost 100% have it (either moderate or sick as hell) and only one of them has been tested. Just told to stay at home, rest, treat it over the counter.

geauxmedic, i’ve also seen some other medical folks from La. say similar things online (Facebook)
