51 year old non tobacco user , 250k , 10 year term, SIMPLIFIED, one week approval, no exams, is $78.75. $105 a month would get you $340,578.
at the risk of sounding overreligious, isn't there a Bible verse that talks about how there is "nothing new under the sun"?

Not being a dick, but you can't really be a 51 year old smoker who doesn't see a doctor and expect cheap rates or automatic approval.
Let me give you a plan. Apply for a simplified term policy and focus on a PREMIUM that you can afford. Then, after becoming the true captain of your ship, and beating your nicotine addiction (been there done that) for ONE YEAR ask to be re-classified as a non tobacco user. The carrier in all likelihood, will send a guy out to do a mouth swab, and if you are tobacco-free, they will raise the face value for you and the premium will remain the same. At that point, after this one is in place, you may even want to re-apply for a FULLY Underwritten non-tobacco policy at a better price.
As a point of fact life insurance carriers have not YET changed their underwriting criteria as a response to Coronavirus.
