This is honestly the stupidest logic I consistently come across.
If we knew next week that a bomb was going to go off and kill ten thousand people, and we had ways to minimize the impact, would you be telling everyone to chill out because 20,000 die from the flu every year, from car crashes? Or would you take measures to stop the bomb from going off?

Entirely different Situation. Virus is going to spread, regardless. No matter what you do, there is always someone out there that won’t wash his/her hands and spread it. Unless you come set up camp in a sterile clean room, shutting down sporting events and buying packs of toilet paper won’t stop it.
I’m 27 and healthy. Sure as hell ain’t spending my weekend inside. Many others aren’t either. People will still come into contact with other people, just in a different place
