When they’re that young they’re crying to communicate something. Hungry, dirty diaper, tired are the main culprits, but then there’s this second tier of possibilities where it gets tricky. Things like gas, upset stomach, over stimulated, or my personal favorite.... an ear infection. You’ll know when they start trying to manipulate you though. That’s when you get to decide whether or not you’re too tired to outlast their will for whatever it is they want. In the mean time, we had one of those automatic swings that worked well for ours.
