People act like most cops won't enforce a gun ban. They will do what they are told.

Meh, I wouldn’t broad brush all LEOs. Don’t forget there are lawmen (mostly rural sheriffs) taking very pro-2nd A stances.
ETA: I agree it is very troubling that these officers didn’t use any discretion or common sense.

Big difference in arresting a 10 year boy and trying to arrest a grown arse man in an attempt to enforce an unconstitutional gun law...
