Baseball rankings

Sad loss today for the Tigers. I am more of a football and basketball guy, but I was wondering at what point do baseball teams drop out of the top 25? One game above .500 doesn't seem very good to me. I understand early season rankings don't mean much (esp. in baseball), but my curiosity is starting to become unnerving. TYIA
