Cancelling our trip to Tokyo for two weeks from now. Japan is massively underreporting the number of cases they have which has made things difficult. Trip insurance doesn’t cover pandemics so we may be out a lot of money.

Less worried about Covid. We’re perfectly capable of using good hygiene and understand the risks.

Reality is, almost all of the major attractions are closed. This is a once in a lifetime trip for us; so, we’ll reschedule until all of this is behind them. I hate the idea of going over and not being able to experience some of things we really wanted to.

Moreover, if the DOS moves the travel alert level while there we could be stranded for some time. No thanks, sucks as we were really looking forward to it.

Have a 7 day trip to Panama scheduled for May. Unless all hell breaks loose, I'm risking it.
