duggie: In all seriousness, that sucks and I know how you must feel. But it's a huge state and there's no indication of trends in hot spots. Those cases were in the Tampa Bay area which is about 2 hours from Disney.

One could argue it's all around us even if we stay at home. You have to have groceries? They deliver, who are they? What'd they touch. I don't see how you could insulate yourself from it all anywhere. Secondly, many, many more die from the common flu. Hell, I grew up in that area and the list is lengthy on things that could "get you". Zika from mosquitoes. Moccasins. Alligators. Pythons. 85 year old drivers on the wrong side of the road are probably more dangerous than anything!

All you can do is live your life and take prudent precautions. Wash your hands, stay away from obvious sick people, sanitize your airplane trays and pray.

BTW: FWIW, I had a friend with Leukemia. In the hospital at Shands for weeks. Didn't look good. That was probably 20 years ago and he's doing great. Pray and keep the faith. Remissions and recovers can happen.

Thanks, Nole.

I actually 100% agree with you, but the rest of the family is worried about getting stuck there if a person is linked to have gone to Disney.

We’re awaiting response from MD Anderson on what they think about our family member going. I certainly hope the rest of our party trusts those doctors advice more so than the Internet. We’ll see!
