If you are older, I don't blame you at all. To be argumentative and play Devil's Advocate, the "big stuff" in Italy is some of the most overated parts of my vacations there. I love Italy for the day to day everyday life aspect of just being in country. The scenery almost everywhere is like a movie, the food just fantastic, and so much more. I guess what I'm trying to say is that yes if you are old and just want to see the big tourist sites its a bad time to travel, but if you are flexible and just want to go for some culture, food, scenery, etc. then now can be a great time to go.

But you told me 3 days ago I shouldn’t even be thinking about the coronavirus!

We're booked for London and Paris March 13-20. Will evaluate and make the call a few days prior. Our concern is not that we'd catch the virus but that we could be stranded overseas or be placed under quarantine arriving back. Crazy times.
